Sun Prairie Creates is a multidisciplinary project between Prairie Music & Arts and the Sun Prairie Community Schools. Built on a hip-hop framework, youth in grades 1-5 explore spoken word, dance, music, and visual art – empowering individual voice, building community, and fostering respect for cultural identity.
The project is supported in part by a grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board with funds from the State of Wisconsin and the National Endowment for the Arts, as well as the Cap Times Kids Fund.
