Prairie Music & Arts was honored to attend the Cap Times Kids Fund award reception on Thursday, November 9th, along with the Explore Children’s Museum and Sun Prairie Parks, Recreation & Forestry department. PMA was awarded a Cap Times Kids Fund grant in May 2023 to partially fund the Sun Prairie Creates project – a partnership with the Sun Prairie Community Schools program.
For grades 3-12, the Creates project is built on the foundations of hip-hop: music production, songwriting, creative writing, dance, and theater, offering youth opportunities to explore creatively and collectively.
