Join Prairie Music & Arts and our partners at Sun Prairie Parks, Recreation & Forestry for a morning of arts-based activities, active play, and STEM play options. Schools Out Sessions are from 9:00 a.m. to noon. In addition to free-choice activities, each session includes the following specialty arts experiences.
- January 27th, Gospel Afrobeat Dancers – A high-energy dance session to start your day! Dance routines are guided in this engaging, no-skills-required activity.
- February 28th, Superhero Self-portraits with artist Chele Ramos – Imagine yourself as a superhero, and design your own unique Superhero Self-portrait.
- Friday, April 18th, Actors Toolbox with theatre specialist Lindsey Hoel-Neds – Actors don’t need fancy sets, costumes, or even a stage to act! They just need their three acting tools, which they carry with them every day!
