- Host a karaoke event.
- Host a restaurant or classroom “music-crawl.” Community members and students can move from restaurant to restaurant or classroom to classroom for karaoke, performances, and fun group music-making.
- Host an instrument-making session: Use recycled materials to create simple musical instruments like kazoos, shakers, drums, or flutes. This can also be a good opportunity to discuss sustainability and recycling. Turn this into a musical parade at your school, business, or home!
- Lead a dance session from different cultures. This can be a fun physical activity that engages the community in music from around the world.
- Host a group music-making session, i.e., a ukulele or guitar jam, but a tuba band would be cool, too!
