The GO-CART project is a community, arts, and recreation trailer offering enriching activities throughout the parks of Sun Prairie. Grounded in the belief that children should have access to enrichment activities that support emotional and physical wellness, the trailer will go directly to kids, hosting twenty activity dates during the summer and continuing to offer activities during the school year on school-out weekdays.
Activities will include music, visual, theater, and recreational games, with programs starting in June 2024.
The project is co-created by Prairie Music & Arts and the Sun Prairie Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department and is partially supported by the City of Sun Prairie and through a generous donation from the Sun Prairie Education Foundation and its designated funds established by Larry Coulthart and the Lee Buske/Sun Prairie Exchange Club.
