| Lilia Simarron has been living in Madison for 26 years, and it truly feels like home—though she’ll happily trade winter boots for flip-flops any day! She’s definitely a summer girl at heart and loves sunshine, warm days, and especially traveling to the beach with her family. When not by the water, you can usually find her running, dancing, or singing—because movement and music are simply part of who she is. A member of the Gospel Afrobeat Dancers, Lilia absolutely loves the transformation dance provides, not only toning the body but also improving health, boosting energy, and bringing people together in the most beautiful way. Being a dance teacher is near and dear to her heart because it inspires confidence, discipline, and emotional expression through the powerful art of music and movement. In her words, “There’s nothing more fulfilling than seeing someone step into their light and shine.” |
