Join Madison-based poet Deshawn McKinney at the Sun Prairie Public Library to dig into the art and science of blackout poetry. Come learn what makes something a blackout poem, explore the techniques that make these poems strike a chord, and practice what you’ve learned with a series of writing exercises. There will be time for discussion, writing, and (fingers crossed) sharing!
