GO-CART Kids Cabaret: Angela Puerta Kids Duet

Join the GO-CART for a new Kids Cabaret performance series especially for youth and families! Concerts will take place from 5:00 to 6:00 pm, immediately preceding the Sun Prairie Concerts in the Park Series. The special creative cultural arts series is sure to get you singing, moving, and having fun! 

Summer Kick-Off Event! Angela Puerta Kids Duet offers a one-of-a-kind musical experience that blends entertainment, education, and cultural exploration for young audiences. Each performance is highly interactive—kids are invited to borrow small instruments and play along during the show, sparking hands-on engagement and a growing love for music in both English and Spanish. Dressed in a vibrant, culturally inspired outfit, Angela takes children on a joyful journey through the rhythms and traditions of her home country, Colombia. Through stories, movement, and live music, kids learn about traditional styles like cumbia, as well as other lively Latin genres such as salsa and merengue. More than just a performance, it’s a celebration of language, rhythm, and culture. Kids are encouraged to sing along, dance, and pick up basic Spanish words, all while having fun in a welcoming and inclusive space.
